VETERINARIAN
Dr. Anjali Bandekar, DVM, M VET MED, BVSc & AH
Dr. Anjali Bandekar graduated from Bombay Veterinary College in India , and continued with her studies by earning a master's degree in Animal Surgery from Great Britain's Royal Veterinary College in 1999.
She built her experience by working at an animal clinic in Mumbai for over 2 years before moving to the US.
Before starting her own practice (New Britain Veterinary Clinic) she worked for 2 years at the Philadelphia SPCA and went on to work for over 6 years with Pleasant Valley Animal Hospital in Coopersburg, PA.
Dr Bandekar opened New Britain Veterinary Clinic in 2010. Her specialty is in small animal medicine and surgery.
She lives with her husband, two daughters, and a Maltipoo named Theodore.
HEAD VETERINARY NURSE & PRACTICE MANAGER
Jenny
Jenny joined New Britain Veterinary Clinic in 2010. She has been in the veterinary field since 1987 starting off in the kennel and working her way up to Head Veterinary Nurse. Jenny is our Practice Manager. She is married and has two daughters and two twin grandsons. She also has two cats and two dogs and a grand-cat.

Zoey
Zoey has a degree in Zoology from Delaware Valley University. She transitioned to the clinic from her past experience working at a wild life refuge. She has one dog, Honey, who was adopted from Logan’s Hero’s Animal Rescue, and one cat named Ebony.
GROOMER
Jessica
Jessica Simon is New Britain Veterinary Clinic's Groomer. Jess has been grooming for 20+ years. She has 7+ certifications including puppy safety, canine geriatric, feline, and dermatology. She has a hobby of beekeeping and has five rescue dogs and three rescue cats.
VETERINARY TECHNICIAN AND SURGICAL NURSE
Raina
Raina is a student at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) studying biology and genetics the pre-medical track. In addition to being a veterinary technician she getting her certification as a medical assistant (CCMA). Raina does research in aging, specifically in metabolic pathways that can be manipulated to make us humans (and animals) live longer! Raina hopes to join the United States Peace Corps for a year before attending medical school.

Devon
Devon recently joined NBVC. She has had 2 years of Veterinary tech experience and 3 years of experience at Doggie Daycare. Working with animals has always been Devon’s life calling!

Soniya
Soniya is a student at Delaware Valley University majoring in large animal science. She has two horses, Stuart and Heera, who she trains and barrel races. Soniya hopes to go to vet school after graduating.

ABBEY
Abby is currently enrolled at Delaware Valley University studying Zoology. She plans on attending veterinary school after graduation. Before working at NBVC Abbey was an intern at the Lehigh Valley Zoo working in animal education. She has a cat and two dogs, Delia and Leroy.
